Warranty Policy

We warrant that upon delivery, our products will:

  1. Conform in all material respects to the description provided on our website.
  2. Be free from defects in material and workmanship.
  3. Be fit for any purpose that we have expressly stated on our website.

This warranty applies only to the condition of the products at the time of delivery.

Warranty Claims

If you believe that any of the products do not meet the above warranties upon delivery, you must:

  1. Notify us in writing, along with photographs, within 7 days of receiving the product. The notice must clearly specify how the products do not comply with the warranties listed in points 1, 2, and 3.

Please contact our customer service team at support@kesarihome.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and photographs of the product. We will guide you through the next steps.

  2. Provide us with a reasonable opportunity to examine the products in question.
  3. If requested by us, return the products to our place of business at your expense (applicable to international clients only), as detailed in the Return Policy.

Upon verification of the defect present at delivery, we will, at our discretion, either:

  • Repair the defective products,
  • Replace the defective products, or
  • Refund the price of the defective products, after deducting any costs incurred by us as described above (applicable to international clients only).

Warranty Exclusions

We shall not be liable for any product’s failure to comply with the warranties in points 1, 2, and 3 if:

  1. You continue to use the products after notifying us of the defect, as required under point 4.
  2. The defect arises due to your failure to follow our oral or written instructions regarding the storage, commissioning, installation, use, or maintenance of the products.
  3. You alter or repair the products without our prior written consent.
  4. The defect results from normal wear and tear, intentional damage, negligence, or abnormal storage or working conditions.

Please note that our rugs are folded for shipment, which may cause temporary fold marks upon unpacking. These marks are not considered defects. To remove them, we recommend that you:

  • Keep the rug rolled for a few days, or
  • Fold the rug in the opposite direction to help remove the marks.

Once the rug is laid flat on the floor, these marks should disappear.

Defects Outside Warranty Coverage

The following conditions are considered normal characteristics of handmade rugs and are not covered under our warranty:

  • Shedding: Some shedding is natural, particularly with new rugs. Shedding can be minimized by vacuuming the rug on a low power setting at least once a week.
  • Color and Texture Variations: Changes in color and texture can occur due to the use of natural fibers and dyes. These changes may also result from prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, heat, or certain atmospheric gases.
  • Sprouting and Fiber Loss: Occasional sprouting, pulls, or the loss of single tufts of fiber are normal and do not indicate a defect.
  • Rolling Marks: Rugs may exhibit rolling marks when first unrolled. These marks typically disappear with routine vacuuming.
  • Odor: Rugs that have been recently removed from packaging may have a slight odor. This odor is not considered a defect and can usually be eliminated by placing the rug (back side up) in direct sunlight for 24 hours.
  • Matting and Crushing: Matting and crushing of the rug’s fibers can occur over time, particularly in high-traffic areas. Proper maintenance, including regular vacuuming and rotation, can help minimize these effects.
